Three decades-plus at Wirz, Jung von Matt, and Publicis – and still nowhere near out of ideas
Consulting, management, sparring, partnership. Different roles and perspectives on companies, brands, communication, and people.
To me, experience doesn't mean having an answer for everything. It means being able to read situations, ask the right questions, and recognize when something new is needed – and when it isn't.
And bringing the right people together, to move forward together.
Titles and positions are stops along the way. What shaped me were people, projects, and moments that changed how I see things.

Definitely the former. To me, experience isn't an archive – it's a pretty good filter. I recognize faster what has substance and what just sounds good. And at the same time, I try to hold on to one question: What if?
-
Deciding. Technology gives me an astonishing number of options in almost no time. But more options don't automatically mean better solutions. In the end, it takes judgment, brand understanding, and a feel for what actually reaches people
-
Both. Good strategy has to prove itself in execution. And execution without a clear idea is mostly just motion. So better to get into doing early: try, learn, sharpen. Thinking and doing belong together – from the first idea down to the last detail.
-
Because not every problem needs the same people. I believe in small, well-matched constellations rather than teams kept on standby. Sometimes it takes a designer from Berlin, sometimes a font specialist from Copenhagen, sometimes someone nobody's even thought of yet. The network is the operating system.

With people I enjoy working with. Sounds obvious, but it's actually pretty crucial. Good work needs trust, openness, and genuine enthusiasm for each other. On both sides.
